One of the best parts of being a children’s author is visiting schools and talking to kids about writing and books and generally being creative.

Since the world is now on lockdown due to Covid-19, I am making myself available to do online or virtual author talks and writing workshops for schools and libraries.

I love talking to kids about my author journey – and how I went from being a keen writer trying to write funny stories at primary school, to studying journalism at university, before going back to funny stories and writing the Real Pigeons books (illustrated by Ben Wood).

Just like when I visit a physical school or library, the aim of these online sessions is to inspire children to read, write and be creative.
